This Comic Strip is about chapter 2-6 of "A Little History of the World". These chapters show the progression from simple ancient Egyptians and how we still use some of their cultural aspects, such as hieroglyphics and how emojis are similar. The next one is how from the simplicity of ancient times to the progression of the Greeks discovering astronomy and the advancements in technology. The last one is about about the Phoenicians and their creation to the modern alphabet and how trade is still influential. I chose those chapters because I was interested in the chapters about the discovery of astronomy and how trade is still used today as it was back with the Phoenicians. I think that it is historically important because without the Greeks discovering astronomy our days of the week could be different, that without the Ancient Egyptian empire then things could be drastically different because of how much of an impact it has still has on the western world, such as making buildings and communication. Also the Greeks set a basis for many things including astronomy, that has helped us learn more about the planet we live on and make advancements in science. Knowing how much trade has influenced the past and how often we use it in day to day live with corporate companies, almost everything we buy was traded at one point, which to me seems crazy.
