  • Womens hair styling then has impacted our styling today. Women wore different kinds of hair styling, clothing and makeup. Although for hair styling women would dye it, put accessories in it, or style it in different ways. The ways they styled has given us ideas to do our hair. Not only do we dye it, but we dye it different colors as well. Though as much accessories they put in then we don't put in as much now. AE
  • Women in the 1500's would seek to be just like the queen. Of course the queen used better recipes to dye hair but they would try to imitate her curly red or blonde hair. Some of the recipes women used were strange elements, including urine. Though false hair and wigs were commonly used at the end of the Elizabethan era. Their impact today on us has been great. Not only do we use wigs for styling but dying our hair different colors too. AE
  • Women in the 1500's wouldn't just dye their hair but they would also put many accessories in it. If women were to accessorize their hair they would braid it. Some of the accessories they would put in it were glitter, flowers, ribbons etc. Another thing women put in their hair were snoods. Snoods are a headdress or hairnet that became highly popular. Just like today women are still accessorizing their hair, just not as much metal and accessories. AE
