Well class. First you must write down the equations obviously. For example. X = Y-3 3x + 4y = 7
Next, you look and see which one of the variables is by themselves.
X = Y - 3 3x + 4y = 7
It says "X = Y - 3" Next. You would substitute for "X"
Is this correct? 3(y - 3) + 4y = 7
Yes you're correct, but would you explain how you got your answer, to the class.
