Thank you my friend. I am a Christian priest. I was a Hutterite. The Hutterites are mainly a Protestant religious group. We are pacifists. We used to live in Russia, and were religiously prosectuted.
Western Canada offered a safe life. We moved to Manitoba and Alberta. All our wishes came true. The land is good for farming and cheap. Our children have flourishing lives. We don't need to work in the military. And Canada has changed me. I was protestant. Now I am Christian.
Of course, the Hutterites were not the only people welcomed by Western Canada and Britain. Recently, a group of British people were brought to Western Canada by the Anglican Church. Reverend George Lloyd led them to a tract of land on the border of Saskatchewan and Alberta. Now they're as happy as anyone could be!
Lovely Canada West. These acts of kindness make it sound just like it is: the best place in the world! Ooh! There's a small family in the crowd. Let me tell you a sweet story about children. You all know how many children are orphans? So many of them loitering around the streets of Britain.
A kind man named Thomas Barnardo noticed these children and opened a "home" for these children. Then he noticed that Canada, Western Canada in particular, would give these kids a great home and a great future. Now Canada has thousands of people who were orphans from Britain.
You see, Western Canada is the best place to be. As my friend explained, there is good and cheap farmland, well-paying jobs, and equality. Come back with us if you wish. The steamboat leaves the harbor at dawn. Hey! That's another good point. transportaton is cheap now. Farewell possible Canadians!
