Storyboard Description

comic strip about virus

Storyboard Text

  • Hmm, I haven't been feeling so well...maybe I need to wear more clothes for the cold. Maybe I should stop playing with computers.
  • Mommm...I put extra clothes on, but the pain is becoming worse!
  • Don't worry, I'm calling the doctor now! Hello? Hello, Doctor? I need an appointment ASAP!
  • I can't believe he's sick!!
  • Huh, so I have a virus just like a computer has a virus...
  • It seems to appear that you have a virus. I'll have to give you some antiviral medication.
  • A virus works the same way in humans as it does in computers. In humans, the virus replicates itself multiple times and inserts itself into cells. In a computer, a virus replicates and inserts copies of itself into computer programs, data files, or the boot sector of the hard drive. These become the infected parts.
  • To combat a virus on a computer, instead of antiviral medication for humans, people install antivirus software. It combats against the virus just like the medicine does.
  • Thanks, doctor!
  • Here's your antiviral medicine, feel better!
