Storyboard Text

  • ...
  • Beatrice sees Roy carrying a box. She is curious to see what's inside.
  • What's in the box Eberhardt?
  • Shoes.
  • Beatrice grows impatient and demands Roy to tell her what's in the box. She doesn't believe him. She checks the box to make sure.
  • I'll ask again. What's in the box?
  • For the kid I just met. The one who was running. The one from the bus stop.
  • Beatrice wonders why Roy has the box and what he's going to do with it.
  • Who are the shoes for?
  • Why are you giving shoes for a boy you don't know?
  • She doesn't understand why Roy cares so much about the boy.
  • I thought he needed them. He could hurt himself.
  • What if he doesn't want shoes? Maybe he can run faster without them.
  • She thinks that since Roy doesn't know the boy, he should care as much.
  • Why?
  • We then find out that The boy with no shoes (Mullet Fingers) is Beatrice's step-brother. This would explain why she is protective of him.
  • Ok. I'll try to give him the shoes and if he doesn't want em, he doesn't want em.  Oh, why you ask? He's my brother.
