  • what are the differences between The giver's and the townspeople's house
  • He got selected to be the receiver of memories, he helps the elders with things others wouldn't understand. His responsibility is to not give out any of the memories but also help the elders.
  • I give you the memory of snow.
  • Ask questions and don't say sorry. That's what the giver said what his rules are. Outside of that though. He can lie, he can't take any medication, and can ask any question he wants.
  • Sameness = control
  • The Giver's house has more luxurious and wise feel. Everyone else's is just the same and there is no diversity.
  • What do you think my job would be?
  • Hmm, her jacket is a.....different.
  • Jonas was given the memory of snow, sledding, hills, sunshine, and sunburn for his first day.
  • Because the people who control them, wants control. To have control, is to have no freedom.
