P.T. Barnum grow up in a poor family and was treated poorly. Unlike Charity who grow up in a wealthy family. P.T. Barnum loved Charity and Charity loved him but Charity's family didn't like P.T. Barnum but they still married.
Climax /Tightrope
P.T. Barnum lost his job but bought a museum and started a circus with people who get treated poorly because they are different from other people. They dance and sing during the show.
Falling Action/ From now On
Anne gets treated poorly at the theatre and runs away Phillip comes and sings in a song how much he loves her and Anne says how they can't be together because people will judge them, Anne and Phillip love eachother.
Resolution/ The Greatest Show
Charity is saying how when he left he caused a gap in their family and the circus which lead to two big problems, the circus burning down and Charity leaving him. If he would have stayed Charity wouldn't have felt as lonely and wouldn't have left him.
Barnum is saying how he is sorry that he was treating them poorly and how he will learn from his mistakes. This contributes to the lesson and theme because he is saying sorry for his poor actions and to learn from yours.
If the circus hadn't been made they characters there would not have made the circus family and they would have been hiding so people don't see them, when the shouldn't care what other people think of them.
