You're bleeding. We need to get you to the medical tent.
My real name isn’t Daniel and I’m not actually supposed to be in the army. Don't tell anyone"
Charles, I need to tell you something.
Blood gushes out of her leg. She feared that Charles would run to the command officer and tell. She didn’t want to get arrested. Alice didn’t want her leg to get infected as well. Alice walks up to Charles and asks for a bandage. Sweat began pouring down her face.
“You’re bleeding. We need to get you to the medical tent.” He insisted. ““You’re bleeding. We need to get you to the medical tent.” He insisted. “No” Alice hesitated “Charles, I need to tell you something. My real name isn’t Daniel and I’m not actually supposed to be in the army. Don't tell anyone"
“I promise I won’t” He said in an uncertain voice. For some reason his voice sounded lighter. He struggled to make eye contact with her. Charles ran over to get the bandages trying to not be seen. He ran and gave Alice the bandage.
Did you tell?
She ran back to fight wondering if anyone else heard her. She thought about the sound of Charles’ voice when he gave her the bandage. It sounded kind of like a girl. Alice didn’t know if Charles was going to tell. She went back into battle, fearing that Charles would tell, and the fear of being arrested. Her palms were sweaty during the battle.
Sweat ran down her face as bullets flew over them. Luckily, Alice survived the fight and won the battle. She later ran over to Charles.
“Did you tell?” she asked nervously. Charles shook his head. Alice sighed in relief. She could continue fighting in the army and wouldn’t be arrested.
