- Hello Tammy. Yes, I am ashamed to admit our company has been a big contributor to this tragedy. However, many do not know firefighter foam needs PFAS as they are the most effective chemical to serve as a surfactant to cool and suppress the fires. However, I am aware our company needs to do a better job at containing these chemicals as they are dangerous to our environment and communities.
- Hi John, I am happy to be meeting with you. After doing some research, I have found your company, Tyco Fire Products has had a big contributor to the PFAS chemical leak in Green Bay.
- But, why has it taken so long to settle? If you see the problem, why haven't you taken the initiative to fix it? Instead, companies like mine have had to expose this information in order to take action to save our communities.

- It is nice to know these communities that have been impacted for years are finally going to see a change. I have talked to many people and families who have been hit pretty hard because of your company.
- Well, it is quite an expensive fix, and we have not found a chemical that is as effective as these. However, I am sure you would be glad to know we have finally reached a $750 million dollar settlement that will go into effect this spring to effected communities. Although, this settlement does not mean we are admitting to being wrong, because in reality, there was no wrong doing.
- I am happy to know there has already become a solution to this problem, which so I hear, could potentially last a lifetime.

- Well, it would good talking to to, John. I am glad I was able to follow you around and meet people who have a great deal of information on this topic. I will definently have a lot to write about, and make our community more aware via the article I will be publishing in the near future.
- Of course Tammy, I am happy to show you just a little bit of what I do. Our company strives to make an impact on communities that have been tragically affected by these "forever" chemicals. The more people that are aware, the more change we will hopefully see.
