- T- The tone of Scarlet Ibis was always a somber one, leaning heavily on the themes of regret, death, and Family

- He in fact said " It was bad enough having an invalid brother, but having one who possibly was not all there was unbearable,so I began to make plans to kill him by smothering him with a pillow." (pg. 2) this so how much distain he had for Doodle and how he would rather had no brother than an invalid one.
- W- Brother wasn't the biggest fan of Doodle and he also did not like the fact that he had to take care of him and take him everywhere he went
- I- The Imagery used was Always used to paint a very realistic image the Reader's head
- "but the wings were uncoordinated, and amidmuch flapping and a spray of flying feathers, it tumbled down, bumping throughthe limbs of the bleeding tree and landing at our feet with a thud. Its long,graceful neck jerked twice into an S, then straightened out" (pg 3) Decsrobes in perfect details the last moments of this bird
- "..."...its clawlike feet were delicately curved at rest. Even death did not mar its grace, for it lay on the earth like a broken vase of red flowers, and we stood around it, awed by its exotic beauty." (pg 3) When it says Red flowers its refuring to the way its feathers are red like the petal of a red flower if it was drop outta a Vase
- S-Symbolism in the Scarlet Ibis was a very keen on the color red using it to usually representing death
- tthe Author believes Family is something you should cherish always because you don't know when they die
- T- The theme oh the Scarlet Ibis can be multiple thing but I do believe in what I said
