  • She was a symbol of hope, resilience, and empowerment.
  • As she stayed in her bed for months, she got better and better at painting. One of her early paintings was a self portrait.
  • Would she be happy with today’s society? Who knows. Some places still don’t treat women equally.
  • At an art show in 1938, her art is sold for up to $800. She is gaining popularity with her art.
  • She supported feminism, no longer wanted gender stereotypes and even dressed as a man for a family portrait at some point.
  • protests, marches, and more still happen today. Her legacy was to get rid of gender stereotypes. We shouldn’t allow it if she couldn’t have. She was very fierce.
