- Ahh, feels so nice to finally be off of the mayflower.
- Yes it sure does! Lets create some rules for ourselves since we don't really have a government.
- You have got to be kidding me!! I came to the colonies to get away from the kings rule. Being under the British Rule sucks.
- Here is the Stamp Act. You who live in the colonies must pay the king taxes on paper good such as stamps or letters!!!
- We are now the United States of America. No longer will we be the British colonies!!
- We in the colonies have finally done it! We beat great Britain!!!!!
- The articles of confederation are so great. Congress acts as our president in ways, No national currency, and no national court system.
- I am a time traveler from the future. First off no that sounds terrible. Second, just wait till you try to make amendments to the articles of confederation. Have fun with that.
- Yeah that may be fine and dandy but didn't you hear? Now we have to create a constitution and do more annoying paperwork. It may have been easier to just stay apart of Britain.
- Another great day being independent form Great Britain. Our declaration of independence is so nice.
- You did such a great job honey!!! The new constitution will be ratified tomorrow. I am so proud of you.
- Phew! Maybe the constitution wasn't all too bad to create. I was being sort of dramatic when i said it would better to still be under the rule of Great Britain.
