I can't figure out how to do my integer problem can you help me.
ya, whats the problem?
Hey, Pablo why the long face?
*Pablo's mind* ok negative 5 plus 2
First, you want to take the negative five and try to picture it on a number line then add two so you go to the left to count the two.
so it's like five minus two, It equals 3?
I'm starting to understand know
So when it's a negative and a positive number is in the equation you look for the higher absolute value if the positive does then picture a number line then go to the left.
What if the negative number has the absolute value
If it is negative with the greater absolute value then you would go to the right on the number line
I understand know thanks Tyrone
what if they're both negatives
then you add it like if it was positive but with a negative sign
