Good Person- Oedipus is a good person because he chose to help the people of Thebes by solving the Sphinx's riddle. He also cares about the safety of his people.
Hubris- Oedipus had an excessive amount of pride/arrogance because he believed that he could outsmart the prophecy by running away from Corinth so he would not fulfill part of the prophecy by killing Polybus, whom he thought was his father.
Hamartia- By constantly trying to prevent the prophecy, he made things worse for himself. For example, he didn't listen to the drunk who told him that Polybus and Meropi were not his birth parents, so he ran away from Corinth so he would fulfill part of the prophecy. In doing so, he eventually became king of Thebes and unintentionally married and had kids with his mother, Jocasta.
Royal/Noble Bloodline- Oedipus was the son of King Laius and Queen Jocasta.
