Storyboard Text

  • Mme. Loisel was unhappy with her current situation. Mme. Loisel was not wealthy, but she dreamed to be rich. She likes luxurious things and fancies everything expensive. She suffered poverty.
  • I have-I have-I no longer have Mme. Forestier's necklace.
  • One evening her husband came home holding in his hand a large envelope. Mme. Loisel was invited to a party, but she didn't have a dress to wear for the party, So her husband bought her a suitable dress, but Mme. Loisel didn't have any jewels. Mme. Loisel visits her friend and Mme. Loisel asks her friend to lend her some jewels, and her friend lends her jewelry.
  • The day of the party arrived. Mme. Loisel is stunning and prettier than all the others, and her face is full of joy. All men are glancing at her. Mme. Loisel is the happiest woman at the party. 
  • When Mme. Loisel comes home. She noticed that the necklace she borrows from Mme. Forestier is missing. They find the necklace, her husband went to police headquarters, to the cab companies, everywhere, in short, where a trace of hope led him.
  • They found a similar necklace in a shop. Mme. Loisel and her husband begged the jeweller not to sell it for three days, so they make a contract that they should take it back for thirty-thousand francs if the other were found before the end of February. Her husband borrowed money from money-lenders, he risked his life just to pay the jeweller. When the money is complete they go to the jewelry shop and Madam Loisel gave the necklace back to Mme. Frostier.
  • Mme. Loisel and her husband worked for 10 years. After 10 years Mme. Loisel saw Mme. Frostier with a child and Mme. Loisel told about the necklace and Mme. Frostier said that the necklace she borrowed is fake.
