It was a stormy day. A lot of precipitation (any type of water that falls to the ground) was falling out of the clouds. Which can also be referred to as water droplets. One of the water droplets name was Bobby. Bobby was a lonely droplet.
Bobby ended up in a surface runoff. A surface runoff is the flow water the occurs when excess storm water, melt water , or any other surface of flows.
Bobby was in the ground water. Groundwater is a part of stream flow that has infilled the ground. The ground water eventually went into a lake. In this lake he met a water droplet named bry. This is an example of condensation. condensation is water that collects droplets on cold surface.
Bobby and bry go through the process of mositure carried through plants from roots to small pores on the under side of leaves. which is also referred to transpiration.
The process of vaporization that occurs on the surface of a liquid as it changes into the gas phase when it reaches its boiling point. The name for this process is evaporation. This is bobby and bry favorite part of the cycle.
Bobby and bry have completed the water cycle and on their way to do it again. They make new friends on the way. The cycle starts all over again.
