I have recorded the data and the results show that the plastic took 1 Newton to move one foot, the felt took 1.5 Newtons to move, and the rubber took 20 Newtons. While analyzing and interpreting the data, I found that rubber would be the best material to use because it applies the most friction compared to the other materials.
Well, I have cleaned up that mess now. Anyway, here are some mathematics equations: 1.5N > 1N, and 1.5N < 20N
Designing a solution was easy. I am just going to mill out four pieces of rubber that can slip over the foot of the furniture and screw it in.
Instead of engaging in an argument, many people use rubber to hold down their furniture and other items. This idea is very accepted by many people and scientists, and you can frequently buy rubber pads for furniture anywhere.
