  • We Won!!
  • England Developed Longbows; Not an accurate but efficient weapon. The longbow was first made in the early Middle Ages. This weapon helped them win the battle of Crecy in 1346.  
  • The Battle of Agincourt started with Henry V leading an army of 8,500 men. The french Army blocked them from retreating, The french had an army of 50,000 men, most trained knights. The French said they would capture them and cut off their middle two fingers so they could never use a longbow again.  
  • The English found a narrow opening in the trees ambushed the french. The ground was wet and muddy causing them to sink into the ground. The English had won. They killed 9,000 French soldiers, only losing 400 of their own.
