- It's a busy week for the John family! They are getting ready to baptize Lucas! Confused over all the commotion, Sally doesn't know what this all means. Sally asks her father what Baptism means.
- Well Sally, Baptism is one of the seven sacraments. It celebrates the welcoming and initiation into Christianity. Little Lucas here is going to be entering a new life, where he follows the life of Jesus.
- Dad, what does it mean to be Baptized?

- Intrigued, Sally wanted to know what happens during Baptism.
- The ritual that occurs during Baptism is that the person gets immersed into the water. Water is actually a very important symbol of Baptism. The priest says "I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." And from there, that person has entered a new life with their Christianity journey.
- Well, what do you have to do to get Baptized?

- Well Sally, the youth would want to get baptized because it is a symbol of what God has done for us. A big benefit you can get from baptism is that you can begin your journey with God and his footsteps. This also builds your deeper faith.
- Well why would babies want to get Baptized?
- Now Sally knows the sacrament of Baptism! What it celebrates, what the symbol and rituals are, and why people would want to be baptized or what people benefit from baptism.
