Medieval Europe: Feudalism
This storyboard does not have a description.
This is the king. He's at the top of the hierarchy, owns all of the land, and divided the land up among the nobles for food, protection, and money.
These are the nobles/lords. They protect the king, manage territory, they're very rich, and they control large areas of land.
These are the knights. They protect the king and the nobles/lords, aren't as wealthy as the lords/nobles but still rich, and wore armor to protect them in battle.
These are peasants. They have no rights, but they are not slaves. Disease was common among them and their diets seldom varied. They were included with the manor.
The peasants were also given land by the knights to work on.
During this time, some women that were pregnant worked in the kitchen cooking and cleaning.
