Ok, well then I have a question for you. Where did my boots come from?
The same thing! Except the boots are being used to provide you clothing, not energy and food. Also, the leather came from an animal, instead of a plant.
That's true, but if you know that, then you MUST know where my house came from.
It's made from brick.
Well, I need to know what your house is made out of.
I don't know, I'm not a natural resource expert.
It still comes from soil, water, and air. The bricks are made from clay, a type of soil, and water is in the building materials. The house just provides you shelter instead of food or clothing.
Are there any natural resources I haven't mentioned yet?
