- This is about the bear coming into the cabin and Lyddie took control of everyone in the house. Lyddie told them to go into the loft and she would come last and pull up the ladder. A quote from Lyddie is, "And there in the doorway was a massive black head, the nose up and smelling, the tiny eyes bright with hungry anticipation." (Page:1)
- This is when Lyddie was working for the mistress and she went to her cabin without permission so the mistress fired her. A quote from Lyddie is, 'You're dismissed!" the woman said. (Pg. 44)
- This is when Charlie decided ether or not he should keep the money or give to his mom so she could spend the money however she wants. A quote from Lyddie is, " 'Hush. I'm studying on it.' " (Page 10)
