Hi, I'm a red blood cell. I have just been created. I'm in the waiting room waiting to travel to the heart
I'm now in the capillaries, which takes me to the heart, I need to get some oxygen first!
I just made it to the Vena cava and then I got pushed over to the right atrium! It contracted and pushed me out! Now I'm heading for the Lungs.
The pulmonary artery lead me straight to the lungs, so I picked up some oxygen and now I'm oxygenated! Now I'm going to take the pulmonary vein and the left atrium up to the heart!
The left atrium contracted and pushed me over through the left ventricle, through the heart and into the aorta!
I'm now going to the lower limbs and I'm going to drop off some oxygenated blood and collect some carbon dioxide
