- When Curley met Lennie for the first time he didn't like him. He thinks that because he's big, he’ll try and do something to him.
- Lennie grabs onto a girls dress which makes everyone in town hate him. The town was going to lynch him, so they were forced to run away.
- curley doesn't like Slim because he thinks his wife likes him. They are always together at the farm so curley thinks whenever he cant find his wife, she's with Slim.
