After Mariam finds her mother dead, her friend and Jalil had a funeral. Mullah Faizullah is the only one who is able to help her calm down and start to accecpt that she lost her mother and that it is okay to have emotions
Mariam must except that the wife's in Jalil's house don't want Maraim in the house. So they are forcing Mariam out by making her get married to Rasheed.
After Mariam and Rasheed get married, Maraim is enduring that she never wants to see Jalil again because he let his wives force her to marry.
