Laurie went to kindergarten and told his parents about Charles. This fits into the exposition because the author is giving the setting and character.
Charles would bully other kids and hits the teacher. This is the Rising action because Charles is starting to be bad.
Laurie was a trouble maker at school like punching other kids and he was coming home and telling his parents a lie. he made a name Charles and said he was causing trouble but it was Laurie the whole time. This is the climax because Laurie is lying to her parents about this Charles but it is really Laurie.
Charles all of a sudden started being nice when he would help the teacher and being nice to other kids. This is the Falling action because Charles is starting to be nice and getting to the resolution
Laurie went to PTA meeting looking for Charles mother, the teacher said there was no Charles. Since there was no Charles it was actually Laurie who was Charles. This is the Resolution because the Parents know who is actually Charles and this is the end of the story.
The theme is honesty is the best policy because there was no ´´Charles´´ so it was Laurie being the trouble maker and she gave excuses about ´´Charles¨ staying in class and everyone else so the parents know why she was late.
