Hamlet is met by his father in the garden where he tells Hamlet how Claudius murdered him. Hamlet then swears revenge for his father.
Hamlet and Claudius watch a play in which a character dies similar to how Claudius killed Hamlet's father. As a test to determine whether or not Hamlet can believe the ghost, he tries to see if Claudius looks guilty. Claudius is so guilty he actually stops the play.
Hamlet was going to kill Claudius in his room, but he saw that he was praying. Hamlet could not kill Claudius while he was praying because he would go to heaven., so the plan was postponed.
Polonius hides in the curtain to eavesdrop on the conversation with Hamlet and his mother. Hamlet storms into Gertrude's room and said some very threatening things. Fearing for their lives, both Polonius and Gertrude cry for help. Hamlet stabs Polonius through the curtain.
Claudius then sends Hamlet to England , while Hamlet still struggles to determine when to kill Claudius.
