  • Daedalus, a skilled inventor, and his son had escaped from The King of Cretes prison,
  • Daedalus noticed the feathers falling of some birds and got an idea to build wings to fly away from the island they were on.
  • Daedalus warned his son on the dangers of what they were going to do.
  • Daedalus built wings out of wax and feather so they could fly of the island.
  • Daedalus built wings out of wax and could be easily melted if they flew to close to the sun.
  • Icarus, Daedalus's son, got carried away though with the fun of flying.
  • Daedalus watched as his son fell into the sea and drowned.
  • Daedalus was devastated, and in his son's honor named the nearest island after him.
