  • Hamlet's mother remarries to his uncle and Hamlet is upset about it. "My father's spirit--in arms! All is not well." (pg 39)
  • Laertas is getting ready to leave and says farewell to his family. "Most humbly do I take my leave, my lord...Farewell, Ophelia," (pg 45)
  • Farewell Ophelia!
  • The ghost tells Hamlet that he should follow him into the night and his companions tell him that he shouldn't. "I say, away!--Go on. I'll follow thee." (pg 55)
  • I am coming!
  • Follow me !
  • The ghost tells Hamlet that he is the ghost of his father, Claudius killed him, and that Hamlet must get revenge for his father. "Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder." (pg 57)
  • I am the ghost of your dead father
  • Hamlet listens to everything the ghost tells him and swears that he will help him out. "That you know aught of me-this do swear, So grace and mercy at your most need help you." (pg 69)
