I am in the perspective of Vernon Johns.Segregation is present in this cell. I happened to walk onto the bus, the wrong way. Two citizens seem to ignore him. Richard spots him, and is easily angered. He instantly warns him to correct himself. I decide to argue back.
Suddenly, I becomes radical, and yell at the young woman sitting next to the other gentleman. He pretends to not hear him, and continue to proclaim that they have somewhere to be. Richard stays silent. The 14th Amendment isn't going along so well after all
Richard is the opposite of being leniant when he explains that he should just leave. I am too upset to argue. Instead, I insult them as I hop off the bus. The other gentleman agrees with Richard, as he shouts to follow the rules, or get off the bus. In this storyboard, an example of Black Codes are presented.
