The Assyrians were a well trained army which consisted of foot soldiers, archers, cavalry, and charioteers. They used iron weapons because it was stronger and more efficient.
Kings in Assyria had the right to chose officials to benefit the Assyrian life.
The Assyrians built temples and palaces which were places where they worshiped Babylonian gods.
Fall of the Chaldean Empire
The Chaldean's led a revolt against the Assyrian army. After the Assyrian king was killed, King Nabopolassar and his son, Nebuchadnezzar built a new empire; the Chaldean Empire.
King Nebuchadnezzar rebuilt Babylon, which made it the largest and richest city in the world.
After Nebuchadnezzar died, a series of week kings ruled the Chaldean Empire, plus the poor harvests and slow trade made things worse.
