Salva was looked like the perfect student with his poper posper and looks like he is ready learn, but his mind is adrift in his head he was wish that he was home playing with his family. Then heard bang and gun shot was fired the teacher said "Get down."
After that the teacher said "Run into a bush do not go near the villages." Salva ran far away as he can and he meat up with some people who got attack the group was tired and until it got too dark to see the path ahead of them.
Salva and everyone else was trying to go to sleep. The next morning he did not see any one he got left behind. He was hoping that his family was OK and then he saw a old lady next to the barn. The old lady took Salva in and offered food, water, and to sleep here. The next day the old lady said she was going to village for some food and told Salva to run in the opposite direction.
Salva walked for hours and found a groups of men, women and children. The groups were separated from men to women and children. Salva walked to the men's group one pointed the gun up to his chin and made Salva's head move up to take a better look. The leader said that you sould be in the women and children group. Salva and the other people walked for days until they found Salva's uncle
Salva was getting tired and wanted to rest, but his uncle pushed him to the end and they made it to the Nile River. They had to cross the Nile. They stop at a island to sleep and the next day they arrived in Ethiopia. They had to move to another camp on their way. There was a solider that shot Salva's uncle. They have to run to the next cam and barely they made it. A few years pass by and they are forced out the camp and had to run to Sudan again. There he got lucky and got a new family to live in New York.While he was there in New York, he found his father sick and in a hospital in Sudan. So Salva tried to raise money and it worked.
