Carbon Cycle - Comic Strip
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hi, I am Gary the Giraffe. I am your tour guide today and will show you how carbon connects us all.
This tree is a plant, which is a part of the cycle. It starts out by absorbing carbon dioxide molecules from the atmosphere, like these. It is food for plants, made during photosynthesis.
Then, the carbon from the plant transfers to herbivores like me when I eat them like this. This cycle continues if, if, a carnivore eats me.
Also, the carbon will exit my body, back into the atmosphere, when I breath out like this.
Another way the carbon will exit is into the ground when I digest like this or when this tree dies. Over time, it will turn into fossil fuel.
Machines like this use the fossil fuel from the ground and then output more carbon into the atmosphere.
