Salva's Friend Got Eaten by a Lion

It had sought out prey that was small and motionless: Marial, sleeping," (Park, 40-41).
Salva Crossing the Gilo River
Salva was at his school when the teacher and students heard gunshots. So, the teacher ordered the students to run as far away as pssible.
Salva was traveling away from his village with his group when he meet a friend. Sadly, when Salva awoke one morning he discovered that Marial had been eaten by a lion.
Salva was running away from a camp that was forcing everyone out with guns when he came upon the Gilo River. He had no chioce but to swim across. Many people died from drowning, getting shot, and getting eaten by crocodiles.
