Storyboard Text

  • "He's dead, poor fellah, and can't hunt any more."
  • King Pellinore cries after hearing of King Uthers' death.
  • Exposition
  • "But, Kay," said Sir Ector, "I have never been to London."
  • All the more reason to go. I believe That anyboddy who does not go for a tournament like this will be proving that he has no noble blood in his veins. Think of what people will sau about us if we do not go and have a shot at that sword.
  • Rising Action
  • Sir. Ector and Sir. Kay discuss heading to London for a tournament.
  • Wart also known as Arthur is looking for a sword for Sir. Kay when he sees a sword in a stone outside of a church. He tries three times and finally pulls the sword from the stone.
  • Climax
  • "I am a liar. Wart pulled it out."
  • Falling Action
  • Sir. Kay is now admitting to his father that he is not the one who pulled the sword out of the stone. He admits that Wart pulled it out and gave it to him.
  • Resolution
  • "Please do not do this, father," said the Wart, kneeling down also. "Let me help you up, Sir Ector, because you are making me unhappy."
  • The theme of the story is supernatural. The story is supernatural because the only one who can pull the sword out of the stone is the heir to the throne because Merlin put a spell on the sword to reveal the heir.
