Tornado alley is shifting with more tornado activity near different and more states
Tornado activity is increasing most in Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa and parts of Ohio and Michigan
This has happened in the past couple years
The cause of this is yet to be found, but we know it is not an effect of global warming.
In the beginning it talks about where and why there are more tornadoes in this new area.
In the middle of the article it talks about how more people are at a tornadoes risk, now.
The end talks about it not being caused by global warming but that they do not know what it is caused by.
"The shift could be deadly because the area with increasing tornado activity is bigger and home to more people, said study lead author Victor Genning, a professor of atmospheric sciences at Northern Illinois University."
"Genning said unless there are specific detailed studies, he and others cannot say this is caused by global warming, just that it looks like what is expected."
