Storyboard Text

  • Nathaniel walks into T. Lillie Importer to see Constance standing at the front desk. Mr. Lillie doesn’t seem to be around. She seems to be making a list of something, but you can’t quite make out what it is. Once closing the squeaky wooden door, you approach her…
  • T. Lillie Importer
  • Good day, Constance.
  • Oh, just passed by your shop and thought I would say hello. I haven't been able to visit in awhile. How is Thimble.
  • Hello, Nathaniel! It is very nice to see you again. Could I help you with something?
  • I have been running errands and working for Mr. Edes. You know, he is always calling for my assistance and never seems to give me a break. What is that your writing?
  • Constance turns back to her list.
  • Oh, he is great. Such a wonderful and happy dog. It is a pleasure having him back around. Thank you again for sending him back home. What has made you so busy lately?
  • Constance looks up from the unknown list she has been writing.
  • Still supporting the importing loyalists I see. Pathetic. Maybe it was a mistake coming here.
  • Just a list of imported goods that my Uncle needs to ship out this week.
  • Turning around from walking away...
  • At least he is trying to make a difference. I see you have become just like your Uncle. An importing loyalist. Still worshiping your ruthless King after the taxes that have worthlessly been piling on top of us.
  • And you, Nathaniel are still on the same side of that greedy Mr. Edes and his ridiculous Gazette.
  • Nonsense! The taxes are quite small, and the reason why they have been enforced is because the King is in debt from the French and Indian war in the Americas. Also, they had to pay for miles and miles of land. Too add, the king needs money for large presences, and soldiers too.
  • You colonists should be thankful for the nonstop protection that he gives daily, instead of being ungrateful for it and mourning. You are young and selfish.
