  • After me, my son should be the king on the throne but unfortunately he got murdered. People would much prefer you as their only King now. So that's why,I chosed you as King as what people wished.
  • Yes, Its my pleasure! I would be the king that everyone would want and its my duty to help and grant peoples wish.
  • The Patriarch stories tells us how God began to form a covenant with a chosen race of people which were considered as the Hebrews. It all started off with Abraham and his wife Sarah. He was the first Patriarch leader of the Jewish people. Later on , the throne went to Isaac, who's his son and then passed down to his grandson Jacob. Jacob married a lot of wives and formed 12 sons.
  • The Kingdoms of Israel and Judah
  • Stay strong people! Have faith in god;he will save us. He will never let us suffer for so long.
  • God gave the responsibility for Moses to lead the Journey to the Promised Land and instructed him with the 10 commandments at the Sinai Mountain. It took Moses and the Israelites about 40 years of wandering in the desert. Moses never lived long to see the Promised Land as he died when the people crossed the Jordan River. After Moses died, a leader named Joshua took over and brought the Israelites into Canaan.
  • Greek Empire and Jewish Independance
  • We are going to destroy your temple and replace it with one of our worship gods. Your god doesn't matter to us.
  • Stop destroying our beloved Temple. Please we beg you! You have been disrespecting our religion since time.
  • Saul was chosen as king to lead them through the Philistine Military threats. During Saul's reign as King, the 12 tribes of Israel became divided. The ten tribes in the north became known as the Israel and the two tribes in the south were called Judah. Later on, David  was declared as king and known the greatest one. When David died he wanted his son, Solomon to be king but he obeyed the rules of God how he wanted to be. When he died, he wanted his son Reho to be king but he didnt listen to the people's demands. People waited for someone that would bring peace.
  • Roman Empire
  • Your job is to kill all newborns. No baby should be living in this country.
  • But Your Highness..
  • Later on, the city of Jerusalem was overrun by the Babylonians. The Babylonians destroyed the Great Temple and thousands more were held captive. A prophet which was Jeremiah was doing God's work by encouraging the Israelites to stay strong for God. . The Persians over threw the Babylonians. They worked on rebuilding the temple and other parts that were destroyed in the society. The Jewish people continued to live this way with out a king and believed in their  religion.
  • Alexander was a Greek ruler in Macedonia. He took over the Middle East and the Palestine. The land was divided into 2 generals which were : Syria and Egypt.Since the Greek had a high authority, the Jews were in their control. The Romans had won against the Greeks in a naval battle. The Zealots wanted to help the Jewish people be independent so they formed a rebellion. But then the Greeks were so upset that they lost, they crushed the Rebellion, raided Jerusalem and destroyed the Beloved Temple. In the Jewish place, they built one of their worship gods. After years passed by, the Jews won victory against the Greeks and the sacred temple was rebuilt.
  • The Jewish Independence lasted for about 100 years before the Romans took control of the land.He chose the leaders who would rule there. The Romans selected a Jew named Herod to rule the people of Israel. After Herod, the given control of Palestine was passed down to one of his sons but he was a bad ruler. God came in the Jewish peoples' dream that he would send them a  great leader. When the Jews were living under the roman rule, this idea of Messiah had morphed into a king that can overthrow the Romans and make the Jews mighty again.  This message was brought to Jesus.
  • Do what I say, I'm the King. I rule the people of Israel.
