The battle begins and natural killer cells try and fight off the antigens, stimulated by the complement system and supported by phagocytes.
However, the pathogen surprises the troops and begins taking them out!, so headquarters calls in reinforcements.
Platoons of T lymphocytes, macrophages, and cytotoxic t cells come to back up the natural killer cells. They bring interferon to help reduce enemy numbers.
The memory B cells try to implement strategies to fight this pathogen from times they have fought similar ones before. A lymphokine reports the situation it heard from the lymphocytes.
Meanwhile, the suppressor T cells are protesting the undue use of antibodies in the body.
The scout helper T cells report that some naval warfare is occuring, prompting humoral immunity.
