At EasySells Ms. James agreed to a lease contract for a brand new car which would require a DP of $5,000 and a monthly payment of $250 for 36 months.
In the contract it stated that Ms.James was sold a 2016 Nissan Maxima with 86,000 miles and no accidents reported with only 1 Owner before her and no modifications or changes have been done to the car. 3 Weeks later she took the car to a mechanic because she kept hearing a buzzing noise coming from the engine. The mechanic had told her that the car did not have it's original engine and it was also missing a screw which caused the buzzing noise.
Ms.James took EasySells to court for Fraud and was able to go to a Nissan Dealership for proof that the Original Engine had been replaced in her car. EasySells admitted to knowing of it and failing to state it in the contract and to Ms.James. Ms.James won the case and gained her $5,000 DP back plus another $250 for the mechanic bill.
