The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe
Samantha Mangra Mrs.Porter Ms.Rivera Period 6 05-10-18
Everyone calls Poe crazy. No reason at all, he wants to kill the old man even though the old man hasn't caused any harm to him. All night he watches the old man in the old mans' as if he's going to kill him now.
Poe kept watching the old man especially as he slept. He kept calling him at night, for seven very long nights. The clock was ticking and time was running out but he was thrilled. Making many noises to wake the old man up, eventually he did wake up. The old man just stood up, remained calm but frightened to go back to sleep.
' I was never kinder to the old man than during the whole week before I killed him.
