The Son's of Liberty didn't like that they had to pay taxes. The Sons' of Liberty met up and carefully made a plan. The plan was for what they were going to do when they damaged the tea. They were going to use axes to damage the tea boxes.
The men then went on the boat and starting striking the crates of tea. They then threw the tea crates and tea in the ocean. They did it in public, out in the open, people watched them. Some of them dressed as Indians because they didn't want their identity to be found.
After striking the creates of the, they were then thrown into the Boston Harbor. The tea was everywhere, in the ocean and on the boat deck. The tea had to be swept off. They then took their shoes off and threw them overboard because they had tea in their shoes. Hours to do all of the work including throwing the tea overboard.
