  • The Process ofPhotosynthesis!
  • Water!
  • Photosynthesis is the process is which plants and other organisms create food. Photosynthesis uses multiple natural resources and turns them into energy in order to grow.
  • Co2
  • The main "ingredient" is sunlight, which enters through the plants chloroplast.
  • O2

  • Water is then absorbed through the plants roots and then enters the leaves.
  • The Process is repeated!
  • Carbon dioxide enters the plant through the stroma. Once in the leaves, the carbon dioxide and water enters the chloroplast and is absorbed along with the sunlight by a molecule called chlorophyll.
  • Co2
  • Glucose (sugar) is then created by the plant by using the carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight. The plant then releases the Oxygen that is a by-product of creating glucose.
  • The cycle is then repeated as the plant is constantly producing glucose by taking in the carbon dioxide we all produce along with water and sunlight and releasing oxygen that we need to survive.
