Federalists vs. Anti Federalists
This storyboard does not have a description.
I, as a Federalist, strongly believe that a Constitution is needed in order to implement a strong national government. The Articles of Confederation caused too many flaws due to a weak central government. We must have a way to protect out citizens!
As an Anti-Federalist, I think the Articles of Confederation are fine! We definitely do NOT need a strong central government. The states need more power and rights. A strong central government has too much power and will become too tyrannical. The Constitution is unneeded. Instead, we need a Bill of Rights.
We do not need the Constitution because it will give the national government too much power and leave the states with none. Without a Bill of Rights, the citizens are not protected, therefore we need to get a Bill, not the Constitution. If the government has too much authority, it will abuse it and violate citizens rights.
We need to ratify the Constitution in order to give our national government the power it needs to regulate the U.S. properly. This important document will help aid us through this time of extreme trouble with instability and debt. It is crucial to Americas survival because it will keep order and protect the rights of citizens.
