The French and Indian war was a conflict between the French and the British.
It was a war to decide which nation would control the Ohio River Valley.
I proposed the Albany Plan of Union
The Albany Plan was the first formal written plan to create a unified government for the 13 colonies
The Treaty of Paris ended the war in 1763
The treaty gave Britain the Ohio river valley and part of Canada
France gave up all its territories in mainland North America, effectively ending any foreign military threat to the British colonies there.
Britain imposed the proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited them from settling west
The war cost Britain a lot of money so they proposed the stamp act. The colonists became angry.
