Effects of European Exploration/Colonization on the Indigenous Population
Since people from Europe tried settling in Indigenous populations, there was war because Europeans turned on the Indigenous population even though they were welcomed nicely, they still caused a war.
Effect #5, War with Indigenous population and explorer
Why are you settling here? This is our land!
Guess we will fight for it, I declare war!
Because of Explorers turning on the Indigenous population there was unexpected war and the explorers won so the explorers took the land from the Indigenous population to claim it for there country
Effect #4, Losing Land to Explorers
You lost the war, this is our land now, now scram!
Effect #3 The indigenous population began to trade with settlers
This is a positive effect because both the explorers and the Indigenous population got to see new products that positively impacted both of there lives.
Wanna trade? It will be cool to see each others ideas, It will be fun
Effect #2 Because of Settlement settlers force Natives to work a lot/forced them to be slaves
When the explorers settled they took the Indigenous populations land and then the Indigenous people had to then work for them as slaves, working and providing for them constantly.
*sob* Yes Sir
Get to work now or there will be punishment!
Effect #1, Indigenous people were forced to convert to Christianity
Because of the settlement of the Spains in the West Indies, the Spanish made the Indigenous people in the West Indies become slaves and converted them to Christian because they didn't want to hurt any of them.
