Blast it, Johnny! Couldn't have thought this five days ago.
I told them not to play in the church . . . I told them
It was good for Johnny and Ponyboy to get in a car with their pal Dally because they haven't done anything in such a long time. Also, they have been aloof for however long they have been in the country. It was like being in a social prison with only one person.
In this scene you can tell none of them were apprehensive, they don't know what could happen to them. Some don't really agree with this idea, but they know it is the right thing to do. It must break their heart to do this.
Don't worry they are in the other ambulance.
5 Miles To Hospital
Where are Dally and Johnny?
You can definitely tell how Dally is frustrated with Johnny and what he is saying. Dally is being very contemptuously to them, especially considering everything they are going through. He just keeps whipping out hurtful comments to the two, that make them go hush.
Ponyboy, I thought we lost you like mom and dad.
Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally gallantly went into the fire before the scared and innocent kids got hurt. We all wish that they didn't get so hurt and Johnny be be loosing his life after all of this. If Johnny did die it would be like losing a piece of a puzzle, it wouldn't be the same.
They had hastily gotten them to the hospital before anymore damaged had happened to them. The hole accident must've been a flash before their eyes, all the smoke and fire are up in their eyes. Must've been hard trying to keep it together.
In that moment Ponyboy really did love and care for him. When he saw how much he was worried about him and seeing how we was about to cry. In this moment it felt like my hear was about to melt because of how sweet this moment was and how Darry and Ponyboy had became closer. It was just unfathomable of how well they were getting along.
