2,000,000 years ago... On the Galapagos Islands lived a spicies of Birds named Finches
At first there were only two Finches however those two Finches came together and made love to each other. POP! A large population of finches filled the land.
However as the Finches continued to reproduce and create more offspring these offspring started to have different traits and characteristics to one another. Creating a variation in the species.
Many to all of the variations between the species started to produce offspring with their own variation. These variations included different beak sizes, feather colour and size, shapes and many more. This started to create divisions in within the species.
With the new divisions in the species, the weakest of the variations began to die out. This created the 'survival of the fittest'.
As the Finches continued to breed within their variations the differences became more distinct and the variations became totally different species to one another. This lead to the now different species splitting up onto separate islands.
