  • Introduction
  • In the 1760's New World, tensions rise between two groups. The Redcoats; who carry out acts written by British Parliament, and the Colonists; who are outraged by these acts and proclaim patriotic acts such as "No taxation without representation!" These are their stories.  
  • Stop right there folks!  Parliament has decreed that no colonists are allowed to settle west of the Appalachians! 
  • The Proclamation line of 1760
  • I don't care
  • But we helped you gain this land!
  • This is beyond unfair!
  • Stamp act of 1765
  • Thanks Bob!
  • Here is your Sunday paper Bill!
  • Stamp Act!
  • That will be an extra $2 you nasty patriots!
  • The Boston Massacre of 1770
  • Colonists were forbidden from settling west of the Appalachian Mts. Land that THEY had helped Britain gain.
  • Boston Tea Party of 1773
  • Boycott this!
  • Colonists were forced to buy and place expensive stamps on everyday documents.
  • Colonists harass British soldiers when things get ugly 
  • Disperse!
  • Repeal these acts now!
  • Muskets! Watch out!
  • Colonists threw heavily overtaxed tea into Boston Harbor.
